The party was being held at 11-13 Grimmauld. It wasn't easy setting up a party at the house where the birthday boy lived. Harry was smart though. He knew how to get rid of Sirius for a few hours. He called in Pyxis. Pyxis had a culinary disaster than only Sirius could help her with. With a crack of the apparation he was on his way to Italy, leaving Harry, Andi, Mia, Natalie, and Leo to take care of decorations and such.
"An age party. Are you certain Dad won't find that offensive?" Mia had asked as she carefully set a buffet table with Martha Stewart's best dinner wear and linens. She was not planning to age herself. Not when she was pregnant. She was happy that she invested in that Muggle video camera though. Some things you shouldn't leave to pensieve memories.
"Why would he find it offensive? Harry isn't calling Dad, old," Leo pointed out as he swished his wand to put up the red and gold streamers. He wasn't supposed to use magic now that he was out of school, but it wasn't like they could tell he was doing so at Grimmauld. "He can be as young as he wants to tonight. In fact, it's rather brilliant is it not? A birthday that celebrates his life yet allows him to relive his glory days. HARRY BE CAREFUL WITH THAT PUNCH BOWL. IT WAS A GIFT FROM MARTHA HERSELF."
Harry rolled his eyes as he set the punch bowl in the middle of the table. Sometimes he really thought Leo was Sirius reincarnated. "Do you think most will choose to even age themselves?"
"Are you not planning to age yourself? No reliving your glory days, Harry?" Natalie teased as she used a Muggle helium machine to help with the balloons.
Harry rolled his eyes as he stepped back to examine what they had done. Andi was in charge of the kitchen so he wasn't about to step in there. She'd been feeding him all day. "It look good, and I don't know. Maybe I will allow Pyxis to make me a teenager again."
Leo snorted with laughter. "I can picture Severus making his excuses now if he catches wind that you and your friends and Dad and his friends may all decide to relive their youth at the same time."
"Will you be making yourself older, little brother?" Mia asked as she ruffled his hair. He was not amused with the hair ruffling.
"He could go younger. You were quite adorable at age six, Leo," Andi offered helpfully from the kitchen.
"Yes, that won't give your boyfriend issues at all with dating a younger man," Harry added cheerfully. What? Someone had to say it.
"I think I'm fabulous at the age I am now, but should I change my mind I assure you that the lot of you will be the last to know. Alright, I need to check on one of the birthday cakes. I think the house is ready to accept guests." Leo bounced off to the kitchen to help his aunt, leaving Harry and the girls to finish with the final touches.
There were rooms set up to cover various eras. The special "it's safer in here than on the roof" room had several lava lamps (not charmed to do things that hurt Potter's brain thank you very much), bean bag chairs, and cool posters. There was an entire floor in Grimmauld 13 allotted for dancing. There was a video game room that had arcade games from Atari on up to the current must have gaming systems of today. Sitting rooms on every floor in each of the three houses were decorated in Martha Stewart's very best home decor. The fireplaces had been set up for people to floo in from Hogwarts, Italy or wherever else they may be. And there was a floo to and from the island. The island that was currently set up with amusement park rides and a bonfire on the beach. The second floor of Grimmauld 11 had more coloring books and crayons you could shake a stick at.
Yes, yes things did appear to be ready for guests.
ooc: So this is open to everyone in all the timelines who know Sirius in some way or another. Pyxis has several aging potions that will allow people to go older or younger as they wish too. She will also be offering gender changing potions just because she finds it hilarious. So, age up, age down, change your gender, or stay as you are, it's a party and you're invited to have a good time. For added chaos and fun...some of the aging and gender potions have a little trick to them, that Pyxis will not be mentioning, where if you take them, you will lose your memory of being the other gender, or anything that happened after the age you deage too. It is obviously up to each writer if your muse happens to get one of the special potions. She says, if you have problems this, blame James Potter, as he was SUCH AN AMAZING influence on her childhood. HEEE. Andromeda Tonks takes no responsibilities for her actions, yet is still REALLY amused by them.
